HO/OO Gauge Motorised Four-wheel Tramcar Trucks

Please order these motorised trucks direct from the manufacturer  KW Trams.

These mechanisms represent the rigidly fixed tramcar trucks fitted to normal 4 wheel/2 axle trams. The particular truck illustrated here has a 34mm wheelbase, 9mm wheels and both axles driven. Each type has slightly different fixing method, depending on the tram kit that they were designed to fit.

• The longer trucks have two axle drive, as in the illustration.
• The shorter trucks only have a single axle drive because of the limited space between the axles for the motor.
• Most of the trucks are available with either 9.0mm wheels or 10.5mm wheels. 9.0mm wheels are supplied if the size is not stated when ordered.
• The longer wheelbase trucks are available with larger 12, 14 or 16mm diameter wheels for narrow gauge models in larger scales, such as On30 or Gn15.
• The trucks are supplied with a fixing screw.
• All the trucks can also be supplied in unmotorised form for trailer trams and unmotorised models. Please replace the S or D letter in the part number with U for unmotorised.
