2024/01/04 Update

1. Some of the original BEC-KITS instruction and drawing sheets for the range of OO scale whitemetal model tram kits are now available as PDF files to download, thanks to the very kind efforts of David Voice. The files can be found at the bottom of the Links and Files page on the index.

3. The SOM804 HO scale diamond pantograph SOM916 HO scale single-arm pantograph are now stocked. These are suitable for the Prague Tatra trams.

2018/07/26 Update

1. The SOM800 G scale single-arm pantograph is now stocked. Please note that this pantograph requires a hole slot in the roof for the copper rod and a spring system (not supplied) to function correctly.

2015/06/28 Update

1. BEC-KITS has transferred the ranges of motorised tram trucks, bogies, motorising sets and whitemetal road vehicle kits to KW Trams.
2. Transferred items will still be shown on the web site for information but not for purchase.
3. The Continental whitemetal tram kits, Tower Trams plastic kits, decals and Sommerfeldt overhead parts will still be available from BEC-KITS.

2013/10/02 Update

1. Sadly, we have to report the death of 'Tram Man' Ian Williams this summer. Production of his range of tramcar trucks has returned to BEC-KITS. The complete range of motorised ready-to-run HO/OO gauge tramcar trucks, bogies and diecast motorising sets are now available again for ordering.

2012/07/12 Update

1. Production is suspended again for 5 months from July 2012 because Brian Robinson will be teaching in Manila, The Philippines. Please place new orders from January 2013.

1. Brian Robinson returned in early April from teaching in Mali, due to the uncertainties caused by the military coup which started on March 21st. Please bear with us as we build up our stocks of kits and parts again.

2003/11/15 Update

1. Pantographs can be fitted to a variety of commercial models and some recommendations for particular models are shown on the HO pantograph selection and the OO pantograph selection pages.
2. The Hamburg Hochbahn range of whitemetal Metro kits is now fully described and priced. These kits will be available direct from BEC-KITS when the decals have been redesigned. Advanced orders might speed this work!

1. BEC-KITS have produced a specially adapted Motorising Set for Corgi "Cissie" tram which provides a simple method of motorising the tram.
2. A new Sommerfeldt TT pantograph is stocked, which is also suitable for the Corgi "Cissie" tram.
3. The Overseas Suppliers page has details of new suppliers in Germany and the U.S.A.
