HO Scale Model Metro Kits

BEC-KITS manufacture a range of metal model metro kits for U-Bahn (Underground/Subway) and H-Bahn (Overhead railway) systems. The present range of kits are HO Gauge 1:87 scale models of Hamburg Hochbahn cars from Hamburg, Germany. Some of the kit features are:

• The kits contain metal body parts in whitemetal (a lead/tin alloy) and clear plastic glazing.
• Each kit contains transfers/decals for the Hamburg Hochbahn system.
• These unmotorised models are complete with parts for two unmotorised bogie trucks, with wheels on axles.
• They can be motorised with either one or two ready-to-run Tenshodo SPUD motorised trucks, which are wired for two-rail 12 Volt DC current collection. Use the WB24.5 with 24.5mm wheelbase and 10.5mm diameter wheels for BKHAU and BKHBU. Use the WB26 with 26.0mm wheelbase and 10.5mm diameter wheels for BKDT1U. They should be available from a model shop in your country. In 2018 they were available in the UK from BEC-KITS, Roxey Mouldings and Radley Models .
• The kits come with detailed instructions and construction diagrams.
